Language learning also enhances integration between refugee and host communities.

Our Academic Programs

HOPE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

HIZ owns and manages HOPE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL; the Francophone primary and secondary schools in Nairobi, offering a holistic curriculum that blends academic learning, moral values, and life skills to promote quality education.
Our schools serve both refugees and host community learners, providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all.

Vocational and Technical Skills Training

Recognizing the gap between education and employment, HIZ integrates technical and vocational education into its learning programs.
Students gain hands-on skills in areas such as ICT, tailoring, baking, electrical work, and entrepreneurship, preparing them for self-employment or entry into the job market.

Digital Learning and Innovation

Through initiatives like the HIZ Digital Hub, we promote digital inclusion by equipping youth with computer literacy, online freelancing, and digital entrepreneurship skills.
These programs enable learners to connect with the global job market and adapt to the demands of the modern economy.

Teacher Capacity Building

We invest in continuous teacher training and professional development to ensure quality instruction, inclusive classroom practices, and learner-centered approaches.
Our educators are trained to integrate technology and innovation in teaching, ensuring that learning outcomes meet both academic and practical standards.

Education Advocacy and Partnerships

HIZ advocates for equitable access to education for all refugees and marginalized learners.
We work closely with the Ministry of Education, UN agencies, and other stakeholders to promote policy inclusion, school enrollment, and education financing for displaced and vulnerable populations.
